Legian is great especially if you have a family.
Legian is great especially if you have a family. You're able to walk to the beach, restaurants and never have to worry too much about transport. It isn't Bali's best beach but it's better than Seminyak and great for conveniencfe.

Loved visiting the shops every day.
Loved visiting the shops every day. Trying different food places, cafes, bars, restaurants. We walked alot but if we got too hot we caught a taxi or uber ride back. There were too many shops to mention for favorites, many sell the same items so its personal preference who you buy from. Its uncomfortable for some to barter or bargain with them but they expect it.
They are humble and super kind people and deserve the utmost respect for the way they make a living. Be aware of money exchange, use reputable places to do this. Do your research on things/places to see etc, in advance. Transport around is plentiful whether its on scooters or car hire, taxi etc. Be prepared for the driving on the roads, mayhem and chaotic but they know what they are doing. Loved our time here hired a private driver daily for half day tour and full day tour, the best decision ever. Negotiate price in advance, they are incredible with what to see and what not to waste your time with. Legian is a busy full of life area and lots to see and do. Not for those who want quiet rest and relax, unless you never leave your resort.v

Legian is very busy with traffic, but local drivers are considerate including scooter riders. Just be positive when crossing the narrow roads be careful but don't dither.
Restaurants are plentiful particularly liked GadoGado and Santorini Greek Restaurant Double Six area.
Bluebird Taxis are the way to go cheap and reliable. Hail them or book at restaurant when ready to leave,

Legian is our most preferred holiday area as the facilities are close, Restaurants are plentyful and beach is cleaner than Kuta & Seminyak. Just need to be careful if using smaller, better exchange rate tellers, as they can overhandle the money. I exchange $100 at a single time to reduce chances of loss.

Legian is a vibrant, colorful area not far from the airport for those on their way to nearby islands, or for those wanting to party, shop, beach it or search for the beautiful shrines scattered about town. With a little negotiation, great prices overall for everything!
Strategic location in Legian. The Jayakarta hotel is right on the beach, so you can easily enjoy the pool from the hotel or the beach within couple of minutes. There are plenty of restaurants and bars in a walking distance so you don't need to rent a bike or a car.
The apartment was clean, beds were ok, AC's were working fine except the one in the master BR, probably need some Freon refill. We didn't used the kitchen as we were eating outside all the time. Wifi and the smart TV was good specially where you are kids to keep busy,
The staff here are the best. Everyone is super chill and and friendly. The hotel has recently been renovated. The rooms are spacious and clean with good a/c. The pool is lovely.
Situated down a quite lane just minutes from the beach and shopping this hotel is such great value for money.
I travel to Bali twice a year and stay at Fourteen Roses Beach Hotel every time.
Tip: try Ketut's Garlic butter Chicken at the restaurant. Awesome.
Location was perfect. Close to restaurants, beach and shopping. Loved the Balinese style Hotel. The staff are just beautiful, happy and friendly. We enjoyed our daily breakfast made up of toast, fresh fruits, eggs, juice, tea or coffee plus rice or noodles. The grounds are well maintained. Two good size pools which are super clean. Just love the Kumala ❤️💕
Staff at this hotel were easily the best I have ever experienced in many trips to Bali. Simply outstanding.
Breakfast was also great, good range available, plus they will make you just about anything you can think of.
We were concerned the location might be a problem, but everything is easy accessible via the small alleyway on to Legian St.
Lovely older style Balinese resort. Loved the lobby with traditional musician playing in the evening. Beautiful view from our upstairs spacious room with glimpses of the pool through large trees and established gardens. Central location with an easy walk to Seminyak and Kuta along the beach.
Great Hotel to stay in Seminyak/legian area.
Room is very confortable and big.
Hotel super clean.
Nice pool and well.
Staff super friendly.
Late check out no problem with the staff.
very close to airport so very suitable for short stay as well.
Nice hotel Balinese style but getting a bit dated. Room was pool view, quite big with coffee and tea making facility, large renovated bathroom.. Nice pool area but not much shade.
Good area to stay for bars and restaurants. . would stay there again.
Balinese style hotel with loads of character. Gardens all beautiful with manicured lawns. gorgeous pool area surrounded by gardens. Staff all incredibly friendly and helpful. Located very central on Legian Street, walking distance to everything.
Staffs are so friendly and helpful. Location is good, not too busy so it's a good place for having rest. Toiletries and amenities are complete.
For me, it is one of the very good accomodations in Bali.
I'll be back again when I visit Bali.
Location on the beachfront at Legian. Has nice gardens and pool area and evening buffets we’re ok and good value .
The hotel is a bit tired but the rooms are ok and clean and are half the price of adjacent hotels (Legian Beach and Parma)
Very affordable, we stayed here for 1 night prior to leaving Bali, so this was a nice 1 night stop that was close to shops, restaurants and the airport. The staff were very helpful and we found everything we needed within a 5 min walk.
fairly typical Balinese hotel. Two good size pools, one with a swim up bar, the other had a bar alongside. Great location in the heart of Legian withe any number of cafes, restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk.
The hotel rooms were not big enough but hotel changed to 2 chalets beside each other against extra charge and those were just perfect.. Breakfast was great and resort is just of the the best in Bali
Bali people are Devine friendly and super helpful. Location of hotel v good for doing Kuta Legian and Seminyak and right across from beach. Top pool at hotel is fab great view great cocktails.
The hotel is clean and the staff onto it. Worth the money. We only stay for one night as we had to catch a flight the next day. Will surely stay here again next time we'll be in Bali.
