The staff could have not be more helpful from the receptionist to the fabulous team in the restaurant every member of staff had a smile and nothing was to much trouble... we where very impressed, and enjoyed our visit and will defiantly go again.

The Bluebird Inn at Samlesbury in Preston features 4-star accommodation with a garden. The restaurant serves British dishes. The units in the hotel are fitted with a flat-screen TV. The staff went out of their way for me. Thanks, particularly for keeping my things that I accidentally left behind. I liked the new menu. (More Veggie options would be even better)

Old building, carefully renovated. Room was small but more than adequate. Best bathroom in the UK. Seriously. We had dinner and stayed over night, but it would also be an excellent lunch break spot as food was excellent. Plan to return!

Featuring a restaurant, bar and views of river, Quite Simply French is located in Lancaster, 1 km from Trough of Bowland. Everything was just wonderful. The mix of contemporary and old design elements. The breakfast was out of this world. The staff were attentive and friendly. It was a wonderful romantic break away, with a very central location by the River Lune.

The New Inn bed & breakfast is located in a rural setting in the village of Yealand, only 5-minutes from the M6 motorway. Superb room (modern furniture in retro style, amazing views from window, very clean), great location for a car trip, very good food and drinks at their restaurant (tried both breakfast and dinner). Really surprised by finding this gem!
